An APsystems microinverter converts the generated energy in a solar panel from direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC), optimizing the energy output of each individual panel. APsystems micro-inverters guarantee lower initial costs. Depending on the micro-inverter model, up to 4 solar panels can be connected with up to 2000 watt output on one inverter. APsystems micro-inverters (depending on the model) have Zigbee communication. A protocol that ensures that the inverters can always communicate with each other. APsystems micro-inverters ensure maximum PV delivery. Each solar panel connected to a microinverter features MPPT (Maximum Peak Power Tracking) functionality, which allows the maximum amount of power to be delivered to the grid regardless of the performance of the other panels in a setup. DS3 micro-inverter (1-phase)
